Welcome to my website!
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. I received my Ph.D. in Public Affairs from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
My research lies at the intersection of labor economics and public finance, with a focus on how labor market institutions, public policies, and economic shocks shape workers’ outcomes and firms’ behavior. I use quasi-experimental methods to study employment protections, social insurance programs, and labor market dynamics, as well as the effects of tax policy on charitable giving and civic engagement.
My work has been published in journals such as Demography, National Tax Journal, and the Industrial and Labor Relations Review.
