Laura Montenovo
Welcome to my website!
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Affairs at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
I study public policy analysis, and my primary research interests are in labor policy and public finance. In my dissertation, I adopt quasi-experimental designs to explore how labor market reforms impact the performance and dynamics of both workers and firms.
My work has been published in Demography and in Contemporary Economic Policy. Prior to my doctoral program, I completed a M.S. in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan. In addition, I earned a B.A. in Economics and Management from Ca' Foscari University in Venice, and a B.S. in Economics from Georgia State University.
